MICRONEEDLING

WHAT IS IT?

Microneedling, also know as collagen induction is
a minimally invasive skin-rejuvenation procedure that involves the use of a device that contains fine needles. Micro-needling creates controlled micro-needle punctures into the skin’s surface enabling the body’s own healing process to rejuvenate and repair the skin. This effective treatment is suitable for all skin types and can be used all over the face and body to stimulate the natural production of new collagen and elastin production to thicken the skin thereby erasing wrinkles and smoothing scars.

WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM IT?

This treatment is most commonly used to combat scarring, stretch marks, enlarged pores, lines and wrinkles, loose and non-elastic skin, eye-bags and sun damage and age spots.

HOW LONG WILL THE PROCEDURE LAST?

1 hour (this includes consultation and anaesthesia time).

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

Your skin will appear bright red and inflamed immediately after treatment. Once the redness has settled, usually after 2-3 days, the skin starts to heal and the results start to appear as time

goes on and improves up to a month after

treatment. Appropriate skin care will be recommended on the day of your treatment to help accelerate the healing process, protect the skin from the environment and enhance your desired results.
